So your website runs on an older version of OSCommerce but you want to know how to edit products? Well here’s a guide to doing just that in version 2.3.3 (2013):
- Login to the admin side of your website, entering the username and password when prompted.
- Once you are logged in navigate to [Catalog] (American spelling by default) then [Products/Categories]
- From here you can [EDIT], [Delete] or [Move] existing products and categories by selecting the item/category then clicking the corresponding button on the right hand side. Or you can [Add] new ones by clicking the [New] button below the listings.
- If you want to access a sub-category you will have to double click the folder icon first.
- Once you click [Edit] or [New] you can input a range of settings for the product or category including title, description (using HTML), price and weight etc.
