Our SEO Dashboard Explained

In this blog post, we will explain how the SEO dashboard works and what all the different sections mean. If you need to purchase the SEO Dashboard please visit the product page on CML Design Web Services site.

What is the purpose of the dashboard?

Primarily, the reason for having the dashboard is to improve the ranking for your website on search engines such as Google and ultimately receive more visitors as a result.

How does the SEO dashboard help?

We split your score up into 8 different sections so that you can see which areas of your SEO demand the most attention. The overall aim is to increase the total SEO score by working on the required sections.  We produce individual reports for each section so you can access a more in-depth look at how each section performs and why it received the score it did.

How to make improvements

There are a few options when you discover the areas that require attention. Do the work yourself, have us do the work for you or hire someone to do the work for you. Either way, the information contained in the reports will indicate areas for improvement but by using us we understand the report in great depth and as a result know how to best improve your score!

SEO improvement campaigns

The best way to improve your score is via an improvement campaign. This is where we will continuously work on your site to improve the total score. We choose which sections to work on with the aim of improving your score so you can experience improved rankings on Google and more website traffic! If, however, you prefer to target specific areas please look at the SEO improvement category.

There are 8 sections that make up your total SEO score. These are:

  1. Authority – Overall domain strength
  2. Ranking – Visibility on Google for your main keywords
  3. Citations – NAP (name, address, phone number) listings for your business on other popular websites
  4. Reviews – How many reviews do you have online for your business? What is your average review score & where are they being posted online?
  5. Audit – A technical audit looking into the coding & loading performance of your website
  6. Keywords – How many keywords does your website appear in the top 100 results on Google for and how does that compare with your competition? Learn about effective keyword discovery.
  7. Backlinks – You receive a score which is not only based on the quantity of your backlinks (a link to your site from another site) but we also look at the quality of those links. Additionally, we look at your competitor’s backlink profile and provide historical data for yours if we can get it (sometimes it’s unavailable for some sites).
  8. Traffic – Arguably the most important of the 8 sections we look at your organic monthly traffic and compare you with the competition.

Individual reports

A unique report is created a each score to provide you with a more in-depth look into each section individually. You can order these individual reports on their own if you only require a specific report but it’s a lot more cost-effective to update all reports at once with the LSA update if you already have an SEO dashboard.

Local SEO dashboard

You have an access to a specific area of the dashboard for your local SEO performance. Please note however that the review section costs extra and allows you to manage and respond to your online reviews directly from the dashboard!
