Windows

To install Thunderbird on Windows, go to the Thunderbird download page and click the “Download” button. The Thunderbird installer will be downloaded. Run the installer and follow the instructions.

To install Thunderbird on Mac, go to the Thunderbird download page and click the “Download” button. The Thunderbird DMG will be downloaded. Double click the DMG and follow the instructions.

Linux

To install Thunderbird on Linux, go to the Thunderbird download page and click the “Download” button. The Thunderbird tar.bz2 will be downloaded. Open a terminal and cd to the directory where you downloaded the file.

tar -xjf Thunderbird.tar.bz2

This will create a Thunderbird directory. cd to that directory and run

./thunderbird
