I’m doing a walk with a group of friends at the end of September from Blackpool to Darwen (approx 34 miles) with the aim of raising money for TWO different charities: Sarcoidosis UK and Ataxia UK .

I was diagnosed with neuro-sarcoidosis a few years ago and I have problems with my balance as a result – and many people think I am daft even trying a walk of this distance!
But with the help and support of friends/family and any kind donations via the two Go Fund Me pages I have set-up I hope to complete the walk and help raise over £5,000 for the two charities.
